Certification label
In any mandatory or voluntary conformity assessment system, along with the products themselves, it is subject to confirmation of compliance with the requirements of the regulatory document that regulates the output of products.
At the same time, all requirements for the label on the goods, requirements for the design of the label, requirements for information on the label must be met.
Experts analyze, among other things, the content of the information on the label. It must not contradict other documents submitted to the certification body as evidence. The information must be sufficient and not mislead the consumer. Moreover, it must correspond to the actual performance of the product, if this information is indicated on the label.
Confirmation of the conformity of the label during certification is exactly the same equal action as the identification of the conformity assessment product itself. If it does not pass the conformity assessment procedure, then such products cannot receive a positive conclusion and the appropriate authorization document of confirmation.
The label after certification may (and must in case of confirmation of conformity of the goods in the mandatory conformity assessment system) be subject to changes. Since the presence of a certificate of conformity or a declaration of conformity gives the right (and obliges) the manufacturer to label the products by affixing the appropriate mark (mark of circulation on the market or mark of conformity) on the label, in operational and accompanying documentations.
