Product testing

 

         Tests are carried out by an accredited testing laboratory (center) with the appropriate scope of accreditation in cases where this is provided for by the conformity assessment scheme used for certification or declaration of conformity, or is determined by acts of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus or the law of the Eurasian Economic Union.

If testing in an accredited testing laboratory (center) is not mandatory, tests can be carried out both by an accredited testing laboratory (center) and by another testing laboratory (center) at the choice of the applicant for testing, unless otherwise provided by acts of legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

         If there are several testing laboratories (centers) in which tests can be carried out, the applicant for testing has the right to apply to any of them at his choice.

         Accredited testing laboratories (centers) that test product samples as part of assessing compliance with the technical requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union or as part of confirming compliance with the issuance of certificates of conformity in a single form or the adoption of declarations of conformity in a single form should be included in the Unified Register of Bodies conformity assessment.

Common requirements for testing

Sampling during the compulsory confirmation of conformity shall be carried out for their research (tests) and measurements to extend the results obtained to the set of products (submitted product batch or batch production), from which these samples were extracted.

 

Concerning confirmation of the conformity of products to the requirements of technical regulations rules of sampling are established in the documents, which are contained in the approved in the prescribed manner the list of documents in the field of standardization, containing rules and methods of research (tests) and measurements, including rules of sampling, necessary for the application and implementation of the adopted technical regulations and implementation of conformity assessment.

 

The selection process generally takes into account:

- homogeneity of the batch;

- representativeness of the sample by composition;

- representativeness of the sample by quantity;

- compliance of samples with identification features of products.

 

General requirements for samples

 

Samples selected by design, composition and manufacturing technology must be identical to the products intended for sale in the market of the country of destination.

 

Samples must be labeled with technical markings indicating the name of the product model, trademark, serial number of the product and other identification information about the product.

 

The selected samples must correspond to the products that will be supplied to the market of the EAEU, the Republic of Belarus.

 

Together with the selected samples, technical documentation (manual, connection manual, etc.) must be provide in accordance with the product delivery package to the market.

Document Requirements for Sending a Product Sample for Testing Purposes

For successful sending of the sample and further successful customs clearance, the following documents are required:

 

- application for testing;

 

- contract for testing (if necessary);

 

- additional agreement for testing a specific sample;

 

- manual or datasheet for the sample in English and Russian;

 

- KGB/FSB notification number (for devices with built-in communications);

 

- a questionnaire for sending a sample (we will prepare an invoice and an air waybill for you based on the questionnaire).
