From September 5 to November 30, 2022, the draft technical regulation of the EAEU for nicotine-containing products is submitted for public discussion.

In recent years, a number of consumer products with nicotine content, both with and without tobacco, have appeared on the territory of the EAEU member states: electronic cigarettes, electronic vaporizers, vapes, products with heated tobacco, etc. Regulatory documentation for such products is practically missing, their regulation is not defined. The draft technical regulation establishes uniform, within the framework of the EAEU, mandatory requirements for such products, aimed at reducing the risk to the health of citizens. The draft technical regulation establishes uniform, within the framework of the EAEU, mandatory requirements for such products, aimed at reducing the risk to the health of citizens.
